Culinary event extraordinaires Secret Foodies is launching its pop-up surprise dining experiences in Queensland in July. This is the first time the events will be held outside of Sydney and Melbourne, after the success of more than 200 dinners across both cities.

For each event, foodies with a sense of adventure are invited to a secret themed dinner party. The location is kept secret, only revealed to guests just two hours before the event via SMS. Past Secret Foodies events have popped up in various restaurants and locations, including a laneway, warehouse, farmyard barn and rooftop. The event changes each time, from truffle degustations to Marie Antoinette-themed champagne parties.

The theme for the inaugural Brisbane event on Thursday July 14 is cocktail degustation, featuring a four-course Asian-style banquet with matching cocktails. Guests will start the evening with a fresh seasonal cocktail followed by dinner with their fellow foodies. The week prior, on Wednesday July 6, Secret Foodies is hosting an Italian-themed dinner party in Noosa, which sold out within a week.

At each event, guests will learn about the food philosophy and the passion behind their meal with a personal Q&A with the chef at the end of the night.
