Labrador welcomes Paper Cup Coffee

Cafes attached to petrol stations aren’t traditionally known for excellent specialty coffee and gourmet snacks but Paper Cup Coffee in Labrador is out to change things for the better.

If you’re guilty of ignoring the petrol light on your dash because you begrudge the whole process of filling up your car, Paper Cup Coffee is easing the pain with amazing coffee, tasty sandwiches, irresistible sweets and juices to fill your belly at the same time. The cafe is the work of specialty coffee connoisseur James Cogdell and was intended to deliver cups of happiness from a slightly unexpected location.

If you’re in a hurry, grab a prosciutto and chicken sandwich and a coffee to go but if you have a few extra minutes up your sleeve, take a seat and indulge in a decadent cruffin (muffin made with croissant pastry) or a salted caramel brownie. All of the food and drinks are sourced locally from businesses that share James’ passion for excellence including Blackboard coffee from Blackboard Cafe Academy, Providore at Marina Mirage and The Cleanse Kitchen. Adding pops of colour to the otherwise black, white and timber surrounds, just because Blooms has taken up residency within the cafe offering beautiful bunches of fresh flowers for just $10, a welcome change from the sad service station bunches you may be used to.
