Regulars to Marina Mirage’s farmers market will be thrilled to know that Blendlove and its delectable handmade raw desserts have expanded to their first bricks-and-mortar cafe in Southport.

For Riki Lee and Sharlene, the lovely ladies behind Blendlove, the offering represents their passion for raw wholefood. The pair believe in nourishing soul food that is made with love and positivity. And that’s exactly what you can expect from their first cafe on Ferry Road in Southport. Blendlove is serving up the same sweet treats that have earned the girls a huge fan-base from the Gold Coast and Brisbane alongside a more substantial selection of raw salads and savoury spreads including smashed avocado on toasted rye sourdough, Thai peanut salad and zesty ‘zoodles’ (zucchini noodles).

Blendlove’s desserts are vegan, gluten-free and cane sugar free and only use whole ingredients such as nuts, raw cacao powder, fruits and coconut products so you can enjoy guilt-free. Each of the perfectly prepared portions of white choc peppermint, lime and coconut and creamy vanilla scattered with macadamia nuts will have you torn. The good news is that Blendlove can package their desserts in cute take-home packs so you don’t have to spend hours deliberating.

The produce is sourced as locally as possible to reflect Riki Lee and Sharlene’s desire to support local business. Their coffee is sourced from Supreme Roasters  in Yatala and served within seven to 21 days to ensure the flavour is consistently fresh. Their furniture is handmade by Simply Recycled, their bread is made by Panya Artisan Bakery in Mermaid Waters and even their hummus is handmade by local company Amore di Cucina in Southport. Everything else they make onsite with love and good vibrations. See our Stumble Guide for opening times.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
