Larder has arrived at Treetops Burleigh Waters
People of Burleigh Waters rejoice! The folks behind Griffith St Larder in Coolangatta have added a venue in Burleigh Waters to the Larder family.
Occupying the space left by Café Urbia in the Treetops precinct, Larder Burleigh Waters has swung open its doors, much to the delight of hungry locals. Despite having only been open for a short time, the modish new digs is packed with people relishing Larder’s selection of light meals and Blackboard’s signature coffee.
Offering house-favourites including fried chicken with shredded dressed cabbage and chipotle mayo or the corn meal crusted soft shell crab in between two slabs of bread or, for a lighter option, enjoy sans bread. Larder Burleigh Waters is also serving up its signature soft serve-filled caramel-injected donuts and decadent cronuts (for those who may not be up-to-date on your pastry lingo, a cronut is a donut that is made using croissant pastry, deep-fried and covered in happiness). The new venue will be home to resident pastry chef, Angela, who will be further developing Larder’s range of desserts and cakes. For those with a penchant for sweet treats, once a fortnight, Larder Burleigh Waters will host an eight-course degustation menu consisting entirely of desserts.
