Shop local at the Real Farmers Market in West End

Take your pickings of fresh produce from across the Scenic Rim, Lockyer Valley, Granite Belt, Grantham, Sunshine Coast hinterland and Northern Rivers regions as the Boundary Street Markets presents the new Real Farmers Market this weekend.

Stroll down to 93 Boundary Street in West End this Sunday April 19 with shopping basket in hand and you’ll be treated to a vibrant bounty of fresh fruit, vegetables, baked goods, meats, spices, condiments and ready-to-eat meals. Every Sunday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, local growers, makers, butchers and bakers will bring the Real Farmers Market to the Boundary Street Markets space.

Connect with the farmers and artisans who grow and make your food, while also enjoying free programs such as cooking demonstrations, farming and sustainability workshops, and kids’ activities. A great boost for the market is the co-op stall from the Southern Queensland Country Regional Food Network, which will boast organic, certified naturally farmed and traditionally farmed produce. Once you’ve filled the shopping bag, enjoy a beer or wine tasting, relax with breakfast or brunch on the green and listen to live entertainment.
