Whether you lean towards sweet or savoury, Pie Town’s Pie of the Month Club will satisfy your appetite with a range of flavours. Every month, the Pie Town crew whips up a seasonal special that might not be something you see every day in their dessert cabinet. This could be anything from a nutmeg maple custard pie to warm your winter soul to a zesty watermelon pie for summer or even the elusive cherry pie when it’s in season – basically it’s the excuse you’ve been waiting for to try pies all year around. We’ve even caught wind of news that the beloved Bertie Beetle pie will be returning just in time for the Ekka and the end of the year will welcome in a Salted Honey Joy pie, a Boozy Negroni pie and Black-Bottom Pumpkin pie.

It works like this – you can choose to receive either a $25 six-inch pie or a $40 nine-inch pie every month. Then, when the calendar ticks over, Pie Town will send out an email with the new monthly flavour (along with some tasting notes) as well as some classic substitute pies just in case you’re not feeling the custom flavour on offer. Once you’ve selected your preferred pie, the friendly Pie Town team will be in touch to arrange a suitable pick up day and time. July’s flavour is particularly festive – a Berry Trifle Christmas Pie with layers of raspberry puree, sponge, fresh strawberries and blueberries, vanilla custard, mascarpone whipped cream and Italian meringue wrapped in a butter crust.
