After operating as a pop-up at Wandering Cooks for almost two years, Pie Town scored its own bricks-and-mortar location in 2019. Owner Susie Yang transplanted her menu of American-style sweet pies and savoury variations to the new spot, nestled within an old-school corner store space on Montague Road. The menu features between seven and ten sweet pies and six savoury pies, with rotating specials popping in regularly. Susie has stayed true to her American influences, with signature mouth-watering options including bourbon pecan pie, key lime, Snickers, pumpkin pie and the classic apple pie (all of which can be enjoyed with a scoop of ice-cream). If you’re more of a savoury pie seeker, you can chomp on pepper-steak pie, chicken pot pie, sausage rolls and mushroom bourguignon pies. Finally, caffeine seekers can sip on fresh barista-poured brew sourced from Wolff Roasters, with loose-leaf tea, milkshakes and ultra-decadent pie shakes also on offer.
