Licensed DA’Burger bar opens in New Farm

A new gourmet burger and beer joint has fired up the grills in New Farm.

The fanatics behind new burger house DA’Burger have taken their obsession with flame-grilled goodness to the extreme, progressing from throwing together killer burgers for their mates to opening their first eatery in New Farm. The breezy space boasts a front deck perfect for lazy summer grazing – which is just as well, considering the size of the burgers coming out of the kitchen. A number of local producers have collaborated to perfect the flavour trifecta, with quality cuts coming from New Farm neighbours Rayners Gourmet Meats, bread rolls baked by Creative Crusts and fresh produce sourced via We Deliver Fruit.

The Sunday Roast burger shakes up the good old Aussie tradition, offering all those nostalgic flavours – think Murray Valley lamb, grilled sweet potato and mint sauce – without the side serve of family bonding. Gourmet filling options meander from free-range chicken to smoky black Angus beef, and fresh fish to flame-grilled garlic field mushrooms, with plenty of add-ons available including blue, Swiss and aged cheddar cheese, and the house tomato relish crafted from a 100-year-old family recipe. Bookend the feast with a bottle of beer from Burleigh Brewing Co. or Coopers Brewery, or a glass of wine from Forest Hill Vineyard.

Not only is DA’Burger nourishing the masses, but it’s also formed a partnership with Brisbane Youth Service to nurture young locals via training and mentorship programs.
