Sew a Wrap Skirt Workshop at The Craft Parlour

Sew a Wrap Skirt Workshop at The Craft Parlour

Any occasion should be a skirt-wearing occasion, really, and at the Sew a Wrap Skirt Workshop at The Craft Parlour, you can learn to make your own! Shimmy into this beauty because Madeline from The Essentials Club will have you sewing up a storm to make a skirt in every fabric pattern and shade. You can dress it up with a linen shirt and mules when you’re off for Sunday brunch or down with your fave worn-in T-shirt as you run out the door after a lazy sleep in to get to the farmers market before it closes.

Sewing this creation is a pretty straight forward process – as long as you can sew a straight line, you’re set! Madeline will guide you through the rest. After this, you’ll be whipping up duplicates in every shade for ya gal pals. There is no more rewarding practical activity than sewing, as you get lost in the creative and technical process. It truly is mindfulness meditation as you run your hands over the material and machine, getting lost in the moment. Then look at you go, you hawt thang, as you get to strut around in your handmade savvy self-creation!

BYO machine or hire one from The Craft Parlour for $5 extra (limited numbers). Attendees will leave with their custom wrap skirt, a take-home guide and the skills to continue creating.
