This is an afternoon to design, draw and paint your own skate deck! Hosted in collaboration with Artable Studio this workshop brings the urban edge to creativity in an industrial and fun atmosphere!

You need no drawing or artistic talent whatsoever – they’ll be a range of geometric and freeform images that you can trace and then apply acrylic paints and posca (paint) pens to bring your design to life. Of course if you have an artistic bent, knock yourself out and create your own designs!

No need to bring anything with you, we will be supplying all materials and a wooden skate deck ready for painting. You can use your finished deck as an awesome piece of art to hang on the walls, or you can add the gearto ride it.

You can bring your own deck to paint, however it needs to be sanded back to the wood and painted with 2 coats of Gesso (available at art shops). There are no discounts if you choose to bring your own deck.

Book in with a group of friends and spend a Sunday afternoon getting creative over a cold beer, or two. BYO snacks for when you work up a hunger!
