Head on over to the Arts Centre Gold Coast to catch free live music every Friday night, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Entry is free. This event is guest programmed by local music legend Casey Barnes. Casey himself kicks off the live performances on Friday January 8 from 6:00 pm. The month’s music line-up features a number of well-known local artists. Headlining the program is former Powderfinger lead guitarist and song writer, Darren Middleton on Saturday January 16, supported by Casey Barnes.

The Arts Centre Gold Coast is programming beyond the building this summer and connecting with the outdoor space surrounding Evandale Lake, as the City takes another step towards establishing the new Cultural Precinct. Activation of this picturesque area allows people of the Gold Coast and its visitors to enjoy the many natural beauties of the parklands and waterside location, whilst also engaging with the cultural heart of the City. Summer at the Cultural Precinct runs from Friday January 8 through until Sunday January 31 and offers both mid-week activities for children and a three-day weekend offering for all.
