Bond University’s ‘Live at Bond’ free concert program is launching into the new year with the high-energy performance of seven-piece band The Ninth Chapter, presented as part of Bleach* Festival. Bond University has partnered with the Gold Coast’s annual celebration of arts and culture, Bleach* Festival, running from Friday March 4 to Saturday March 20, with The Ninth Chapter’s show on Sunday March 13 expected to draw crowds in this special musical event.

While firmly based in the raw ‘funk and groove’ genre, The Ninth Chapter’s signature sound casts a wide net, layering funk, blues, roots and other elements. Guests are invited to bring a chair, rug or picnic blanket and enjoy an afternoon of free music and entertainment, with two bars serving beer, wine, champagne, drinks and snacks, plus an on-site coffee van. Live at Bond kicks off with Aquila Young at 3pm on Sunday March 13, followed by The Ninth Chapter taking the stage at 3:45 pm. The event will be held at Bond University’s ADCO Amphitheatre, and is a free, all-ages show.
