High-energy modern Celtic band, Limerick, is bringing its rock tunes to BBQ Bazaar for a night of fun on Saturday November 9. The band broadly represents the Celtic rock genres, including originals, classics and Trad tunes. Limerick’s role as a modern Celtic band represents its incorporation of crowd-pleasers into its shows to ensure that everybody, young, old and in-between, is toe-taping, beer stomping or up singing and dancing.

Limerick has released a five-track EP, Up Yer Kilts, which showcases the band’s versatility and live performances and features two vocalists, fiddle, piano accordion, guitar, bass and drums. Limerick’s live performances have been at some of the best venues and festivals across south east Queensland and northern New South Wales.

The band has been a featured band at venues such as Finn McCool’s, Irish Club Hotel Toowoomba, Scots in the Bush Festival, International Tartan Day Festival, Festuri Multicultural Festival, The Bunker in Eumundi, TwinTowns Club Tweed Heads and PaddyFest. Limerick has established itself as one of the most popular Celtic bands in Australia.
