Christmas Eve at Ristorante Fellini
A complimentary plate of the traditional Italian Christmas dessert ‘struffoli’ will be served to every table on Christmas Eve at the multi-award winning Ristorante Fellini, which will be open for lunch and dinner on Thursday December 24.
Christmas Eve – or as the Italians call it ‘Vigilia di Natale’ – is celebrated in Italy with families and close friends gathering around a grand feast of traditional Italian seafood dishes ending with the time-honoured Christmas dessert of ‘struffoli’.
‘Struffoli’ is a Neapolitan dish of delicious deep fried marble-sized dough balls that are crunchy on the outside and light on the inside, traditionally dressed with a mixture of honey, colourful sprinkles, cinnamon and finely grated orange rind before being served warm. See more information online.
