In the face of adversity our country certainly knows how to come together and rally behind those in need. The recent spate of Australian bushfires have showcased remarkable community spirit and if you want to show your support somewhere local, get down to the Black Hops HQ Beer for Bushfire Relief on Saturday January 18.

This will be a day of fundraisers throughout the beer community, with breweries and beer venues raising money for the country’s incredible firefighters and affected communities.

The Beer for Bushfire Relief will run from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at both the Burleigh Heads and Biggera Waters breweries. Each will host a Karma Keg of Send It on tap with 100% of the takings from each keg being donated to the cause. There will also be a raffle for merchandise, beer giveaways and donation boxes at each brewery. All proceeds from the day will be donated to the NSW Rural Fire Service.
