More than 130 masters boxers (men and women aged between 34 and 80) will fight at the ADIDAS Queensland Masters Boxing Titles at Kirra Sports Club from July 15–17. They are coming from all parts of Australia and New Zealand.

This inspirational event is a great example of fitness and sport at any age, sometimes in the face of tremendous challenges. Julie Hoffman, a 46 year-old novice boxer from Victoria, will step into the ring for her first fight two weeks after her latest surgery, having dropped 20 kilos in six months on her way to this pivotal moment. Julie will be fighting on the Saturday night card cheered on by her family, who are travelling with her.

Spectators can watch Julie and the rest of the masters boxing cohort demonstrate why courage and commitment is ageless, while enjoying the comradery that symbolises the masters boxing community.
