Try naturally sweetened Greek yoghurt from The Forbidden Fruit

Try naturally sweetened Greek yoghurt from The Forbidden Fruit

When Theo Comino and Jacque Allan discovered The Greek Yoghurt Company, they fell in love with the product and thought what better way to combine work with their two great loves: yoghurt and fruit.

Thus, The Forbidden Fruit was born in August 2014 and is now a regular at Carseldine Farmers and Artisan Markets, The Gap Farmers’ Market and Fig Tree Farmers Market.

The Greek Yoghurt Company uses traditional methods along with a 100-year-old family recipe to skilfully craft the thick creamy consistency of its all-natural yoghurt. The Forbidden Fruit’s use of this yoghurt on its menu is flexible. You can order one of the menu items including Banana Split, Lemon Cheesecake, Kiwi Twist and Passionfruit or perhaps the Breakfast Trifle with layers of yoghurt, fruit, muesli and toppings. Alternatively you can devise your own creation, by selecting a yoghurt flavour and then layering with your favourite toppings. The Forbidden Fruit also sells take-home packs of the yoghurt in mango, passionfruit, lemon curd, plain and mixed berry.

The Forbidden Fruit is also available for festivals and events and will be featuring at the Festival of Sails at Redcliffe on Good Friday.
