The Gap Farmers’ Market
The Gap Farmers’ Market is an authentic, not-for-profit farmers’ market held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month at Hilder Road State School (6:30 am – 11:00 am). We aim to support regional agriculture by providing small family farms the opportunity to sell their produce directly to consumers, providing our community access to the freshest, most nutritious locally grown food our region has to offer. It’s food with a story! Come and see us, grab some breakfast and have a wander in our family-friendly market.
The Gap Farmers’ Market is an initiative of The Gap Residents’ Association (GAPRA), an independent, not-for-profit group focused on enhancing The Gap and championing fresh ideas.
We are working professionals, business owners, retirees and students who are all driven by the same passion – to bring an authentic community marketplace to The Gap. To create a central meeting place where farmers, local artists and makers can sell their wares and tell their stories.
Deep in our hearts is our commitment to support Queensland’s regional producers and good nutrition in The Gap greater community through fresh, seasonal, farmer-direct produce. We also desire to encourage and support local businesses, schools and our greater community.
PLEASE NOTE: This market will not be operating from Saturday December 24 (Christmas Eve) through until Sunday January 1 (New Year’s Day). The market will recommence after these dates.
