Take your taste buds on a round-the-world trip at Albert Lane this June

As you walk through Brisbane City and find yourself passing Albert Lane, you’re likely to hear the clinking glasses and the sounds of fork to plate, as the atmosphere shifts from shopping precinct to culinary destination. Once you step in to the lane of flavour, don your napkins and order up, as Dine BNE City takes the flavour charge for the month of June. With your taste buds in mind, the precinct has curated a delectable itinerary to pilot your palate Around the World in Albert Lane.

Get your flavour passport ready – the mouth-watering menus coming from Albert Lane’s culinary stars will have you dining on the spoils of Italy, China and Japan this month. If a Euro trip isn’t on the cards this year, you can still savour the tastes of Italy at Vapiano. The eatery’s Legendary Lunch Deal sees four pizzas and four pastas on offer from Monday to Friday for just $19 – choose from the likes of fettuccine carbonara, crema di funghi risotto, classic margherita, salami pizza and more. Take a peep at the drinks menu and have a little sip while you’re at it – you can include a house beer, wine, sparkling or soft drink for an additional $5.

If modern Chinese is the way to your heart, a table at LÜCHA BLACK Bar + Dining is where you belong for a Signature LÜCHA Pairing. For the month of June, the award-winning restaurant is pairing its renowned tea-flavoured roast chicken (a whole one, baby!) with your choice of signature cocktail, for just $45.

Those with a hankering for Japanese cuisine should make their way to Harajuku Gyoza and be met with a feast of favourites in its Salaryman Banquet. For just $48 per person, you can dip your chopsticks into the likes of Hiromasa kingfish sashimi, karaage chicken, white sesame slaw salad and of course, the star of the show, gyoza The gyoza medley sees perfectly packaged morsels of classic grilled pork, garlic butter crab, shiitake mushroom and prawn. If you’re keen for a party, upgrade to the $75 per person banquet and sip and snack through a 90-minute session of Japanese eats, bottomless house wines, Yoyogi Brewing Co.’s tap beer and cider, yuzu chu hai cocktails and a selection of soft drinks.
