Pablo’s Pantry

Pablo’s Pantry is a cafe, deli and wine bar owned and operated by mother-daughter duo Helen and Marissa Kentrotis, who have entered the hospitality game to serve Greek-inspired homestyle recipes to the greater public. Located at the base of Silk One apartments in Woolloongabba, the Collectivus-designed venue mixes warm tones and a modern interior scheme with its comforting and nourishing fare. With space for 20 guests spread across a string of two-seaters and one large communal table, vibes are kept intimate. The menu includes deli-style morsels and grab-and-go items, like freshly made sandwiches, pastitsio, kefthedes, lemon potatoes, spanakopita, baklava and croissants from Doughcraft. A sit-down menu features all-day options like blueberry compote, honey mascarpone and bee pollen on baguettes, shakshuka with roast capsicum and sourdough, toasted granola with caramelised pear, Greek yoghurt and honey. Coffee is supplied by Sunshine Coast roaster Good Bean, while Melbourne’s Love Tea is also on offer. Later in the day (and into the evenings), Pablo’s Pantry starts pouring Balter beers and all-Australian wines from small producers. A selection of artisanal pantry fillers can be found on shelves at Pablo Pantry’s retail section, including an assortment of products, from pastas and sauces to salt, chilli oil and pickled goodies.
