YOT Deck has transformed Fisherman’s Wharf Tavern into a chic coastal-inspired pop-up bar
If you’re among the minority of folks who aren’t swanning around Europe or Bali right now, this might just ease the hurt – luxe entertainment venue YOT Club is partnering with Main Beach Superyacht Marina to create a brand-new summer-inspired pop-up that’s set to open its doors this week. YOT Deck is here for a good time not a long one, take a peek inside …
Fisherman’s Wharf Tavern, or ‘Fishos’ as it was known, was an institution back in its heyday. Responsible for more than a few Monday headaches, the Sunday sessions were the stuff of legends. This Friday August 18, the iconic waterfront venue is set to turn the page on a new (temporary) chapter that could very well be the most impressive yet. The primo waterfront site forms part of the Main Beach Superyacht Marina development, which will ultimately include a yachting harbour, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and a high-end food and beverage precinct, but for now, guests can settle in for afternoon tipples, DJs and some top-notch nosh.
Speaking of, YOT Deck’s modern-Australian leaning menu features light bites such as kingfish ceviche, karaage chicken with sriracha mayo and Moreton Bay-bug rolls topped with Yarra Valley caviar alongside elevated pub-style classics including burgers, fish-and-chips and succulent steaks. Wash it down with a YOT martini (Grey Goose infused with peach and rosemary, St Germain, grapefruit juice and sugar syrup) or a watermelon margarita and you, my friend, have the recipe for a delightful afternoon/evening. YOT Deck will be open seven days a week throughout summer, offering lunch and dinner service.
