Palm Beach favourite Pepe Italia relaunches as The Deli by Pepe Italia

Those that know, know – Pepe Italia in Palm Beach is the real deal. Serving up authentic Italian eats for dinner, this family owned-and-operated institution also boasts a delicious deli offering (we’re talking sliced meats and cheeses, handmade sweet treats, as well as take-home pastas and sauces). Now, the restaurant and deli hybrid has decided to rebrand, unveiling a slick look, the same delicious eats and a new name – The Deli by Pepe Italia.

In July, Pepe Italia closed its Burleigh edition and started working on some exciting changes for its Palm Beach location. The result is a full rebrand, with Pepe Italia relaunching as The Deli by Pepe Italia. Described as ‘same same, but different’, the refresh was undertaken to better suit the restaurant’s mission to bring people together over traditional homemade Italian food. The refreshed deli-restaurant continues to showcase quality authentic Italian ingredients and recipes, including antipasti, traditional woodfired pizzas and handmade pastas, that are sure to tantalise taste buds. The Byron Bay burrata is a must-try, while the spaghetti carbonara with eggs, pancetta, pecorino romano and black pepper and the parma pizza with san marzano tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto di parma, rocket and parmigiano reggiano are also top of our list.

On the deli side, grab-and-go customers can nab everything they need for the perfect charcuterie platter like cured meats, local cheeses, handmade sweet treats, and take-home packs of Pepé’s popular fresh pastas and house-made sauces. You can even get your mitts on a DIY pizza pack to take home! There’s coffee pouring for those that like a fix later in the day (just like the Italians), which pairs perfectly with the fresh-made cannoli and tiramisu. On Wednesday it’s all about the flame-melted parmesan-cheese wheel, where you can watch the chefs twirl the pasta in ooey-gooey cheese right in front of your eyes. On Sundays, you can stroll in for apertivo hour from 3:00 pm, an afternoon session that allows thirsty folk to pair their spritz with unlimited nibbles from an Italian grazing table.

The Deli by Pepe Italia is open Tuesday to Sunday from 3:00 pm until late. Visit our Stumble Guide to learn more.
