Siguenos dishes up delicious Mexican nosh

Siguenos has been rolling around the streets of the Gold Coast dishing out plates of happiness in the form of tasty tacos from their mobile eatery for the past year.

The seed for Siguenos was planted way back in 2008 as owners Rodney and Reanna were eating their way around Los Angeles and New York. The pair suppressed the idea for a while, until a trip to Mexico in 2012 reignited their dream and they concluded they owed it to themselves, and the good people of the Gold Coast, to give it a go. They returned home and immediately started looking for a van to bring their vision to life. It took an entire year to build but in February 2014, Siguenos took her maiden voyage around the Gold Coast and started serving up their signature Mexican nosh the very next month.

Munch on some house-fried corn chips with salsa fresca and guacamole as you ponder the impossible choice between the fish, beef, chicken or veggie tacos. The grilled fish tacos with red cabbage slaw topped with housemade salsa fresca and citrus sour cream is a popular choice, or to make the decision even harder, there are weekly specials that allow Rodney, a chef for 24 years, to get the creative juices flowing. Regulars to Siguenos are particularly fond of the pulled pork taco, beef ribs and chicken wings but be warned, the specials tend to sell out mighty quickly. If you’ve still got room, indulge in one of their sweet treats such as the Mexican chocolate brownie with strawberry and white chocolate chilli ganache or the popular mango parfait, but before you go pre-selecting your dessert, these change on a weekly basis too. Track Siguenos’ movements on Facebook and Instagram for a true Mexican fix.
