The Hodads are bringing their unique take on popular covers to Southport Sharks this Saturday April 15 from 8:30 pm on the main stage.

Formed in 1996, the Hodads have years of great music making under their belt. They appeal to a wide range of audiences due to their dynamic performances and well picked selection of cover songs from bands including Kings of Leon, Bob Marley and U2. Their unique name comes from the 50’s term “Hodad” which is used for someone who hung out at the each, but didn’t surf. It’s a term for someone who was into cars, music and embodied a type of counterculture style.

The Hodads is fronted by Mike on vocals and electric guitar, backed by Rob on vocals, bass, electric, acoustic and flamenco guitar, Wayne on vocals, bass, acoustic and electric guitar and drums and Greg on vocals, drums and percussion. For more details about Southport Sharks’ exciting range of entertainment and dining options online.
