NORTH COUNTY Makers Market

Christmas is undoubtedly the most wonderful time of year but if you are keen to shop mindfully this year and support some local makers and creators (whilst also avoiding shopping centre chaos as an added bonus), head south for NORTH COUNTY. The curated markers market is the handiwork of the creative duo behind Kingscliff’s pottery studio Stone Studio, they’ve teamed up with 16 local artisans and makers and three local bands to create an event that celebrates creativity and craftsmanship among the artisan and maker community.

Artisans at NORTH COUNTY spread across a diverse range of mediums. Here, you will find ceramics from Yucca StoneGrit CeramicsZalie RaeLunio By Sophie, to coffee Therefore Coffee, florals Jumping Red Ant, records and books from Giddy Up, vintage clothing from Pop Crimes and Greatest Fits, handmade surf fins by Welcome To Colour, surfboard shaper Colour Sphere, leather maker Upper Room Goods, silversmith Cort Jewellery, photographer Jake McCaan, motorcycle mechanic Palm Beach Choppers and, for when you’ve shopped up an appetite, Meat Buns food truck.

Local bands Kit Bray, The Yams and All You Can Eat will also take the stage on the day.

NORTH COUNTY is a free event that runs from 12:00–6:00 pm on Sunday November 29 at 1/110 Marine Parade, Kingscliff. Donations on the day will go to Baanam, a local Indigenous initiative that exists to empower all Australians through cultural intelligence.
