There’s no curing a love of bacon, which is just as well, because the Kingaroy BaconFest is back for another year from August 18-20 and it’s set to ‘porktacular’.

With an action-packed program that celebrates Kingaroy as the pork producing capital of Australia, the swine-inspired festival is being headlined by Spanish chef extraordinaire Miguel Maestre.

Back for another year, Maestre will be joined by Alastair McLeod, who will lead this year’s ‘Ready, Steady … Bacon’ series in the food hall.
