Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival

Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival

The Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival returns for the second year on the first weekend in June. From Beenleigh to Coolangatta to Mount Tamborine, the Gold Coast is set to become a foodies’ paradise with a huge lineup of events announced as part of the 2017 Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival.

The program for 2017, running from June 2–4, features over thirty different food experiences across multiple locations on the Gold Coast. From a long table lunch on Mount Tamborine, to a food tour kicking off in Broadbeach, a food truck and craft beer feast in Burleigh, degustations, and a picnic in Surfers Paradise, the festival has something for everyone.

Picnic in the Park will premiere in Surfers Paradise on Sunday June 3. Taking advantage of the beautiful waterfront Lionel Perry Park, orders from the local Surfers Paradise restaurants will be delivered by UberEats to people as they enjoy a Sunday afternoon of live music, wine and family activities. BBQ and Beats, taking place at Helensvale’s NightQuarter markets on Saturday 2nd June will be a celebration of fire, food and barbecue as barbecue championship teams battle it out creating slow-cooked ribs, brisket, pork and chicken. The Long Table lunch will take place in Mount Tamborine several times across the weekend. Witches Chase Cheese, Long Road Bistro, Fortitude Brewery and Heritage Wines are collaborating on a lunch celebrating the produce of the Hinterland.

The Gold Coast Food and Wine Festival is taking place across the Gold Coast from June 2–4. The full program can be found at www.gcfoodandwine.com.au.
