Round up the kids and head to Paradise Centre between December 17 and 24 to see the hilarious and uber-talented Christmas elves as they flip, spin and break it down throughout the centre in the lead-up to Christmas. Free breakdancing shows are running daily, with chances to catch them for a picture as they rove throughout the centre.

Christmas Carols on the Beach
The Surfers Paradise annual Christmas Carols on the Beach are happening on Sunday December 18 from 6:00 pm, and Paradise Centre is the perfect place for you to grab an early dinner or pick up some burgers, sushi and pizza to enjoy as you sing. Make sure you stick around for the fireworks display at 8:00 pm, and even indulge in a sweet treat from Gelato Messina, Royal Copenhagen or Ben & Jerry’s after!

Meet & Greets
Keep an eye out for everyone’s favourite birds of Paradise, Beau the Budgie and Chip the Seagull, as they fly around Paradise Centre between December 19 and 24. Be sure to grab a selfie with the flock and hashtag #paradisecentre to feature on Instagram. 

Roller-skating Reindeers
Once you’ve grabbed a pic with the birds, you’ll also want to keep an eye out for the super-speedy roller-skating reindeer as they whiz around the centre between December 19 and 24. 

Roving Entertainment
With Christmas out of the way, you can head to Paradise Centre and enjoy a heap of free roving entertainment. Think stilt walkers, tropical fruit girls, jugglers and more walking around the centre between December 26 and January 22. 

Fire Twirlers & Breathers
Turn up the heat in the lead-up to New Year’s with daily performances by the illuminating fire twirlers and fire breathers. You can catch all the action live at the beachfront dining precinct from 6:30 to 8:30 pm between December 27 and 30.
