Trade Santa hats for sombreros and traditional Christmas dishes for a turbocharged Tex-Mex feast at El Camino Cantina in Surfers Paradise this Christmas Day.

Toast the festivities Tex-Mex style with El Camino Cantina’s famous Margaritas, served frozen and on the rocks. Every Christmas Day table will receive complimentary tortilla chips and salsas, as well as colourful sombreros for celebratory selfies. An a la carte menu of Tex-Mex classic dishes is available, including chicken wings in 13 flavours, four variations of nachos loaded with toppings, chargrilled fajitas served on a sizzling hotplate with all the Tex-Mex trimmings, and 10 choices of tacos.

But the pieza de resistencia is the generous Tex-Mex Fiesta, which includes a two-hour drinks package of signature margaritas, beers, wines, and soft drinks ($89 per person). Christmas Day reservations are available from midday, with last bookings at 2.45pm. Book here.
