Byron Bay Bluesfest
Byron Bay Bluesfest is Australia’s premier contemporary blues and roots music festival. It showcases music from around the world annually on the Easter long weekend on 120 hectares at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, just north of Byron Bay in New South Wales.
Bluesfest presents more than 200 performances with up to seven stages over five twelve-hour days, as well as five licensed bars, more than 100 food and market stalls, undercover food courts, beer gardens, and children’s entertainment.
The 30th annual Bluesfest line-up is one of the most ambitious offerings to date. On Thursday hear some sweet tunes from Triple J’s Hottest 100 winners Ocean Alley as well as SIX60 and Richard Clapton. On Friday, Iggy Pop, Norah Jones, Tash Sultana and Hozier will all be hitting the stage before Ben Harper, Kasey Chambers and Colin Hay serenade the crowds on Saturday. On Sunday, Jack Johnson and Mavis Staples are on the roster whilst Paul Kelly, The Saboteurs, David Gray and Julia Stone will wrap up the festival. Don’t miss out on experiencing this mammoth line-up and nab yourself some tickets here.
