On December 9, be transported to the steamy Mississippi bayou, to Beale Street in Memphis or the clubs of Chicago as Blues in the Night takes over the Paddock stage. From unbridled joy to deep sadness, no form of music communicates more genuine emotion than the blues and this year’s event features a hand-picked line-up of the best damn blues bands this side of Tennessee.

Heading the festivities is Brisbane’s Blues Arcadia with its dirty soul-infused sound. Combining the power of the Chicago and Memphis blues with the burning heat and legendary soul of the stax and motown era, Blues Arcadia features the award-winning songwriting team of vocalist Alan Boyle, guitarist Chris Harvey and bassist Jeremy Klysz, formerly of The Bella Reunion. 

Sharing the stage is the Gold Coast’s own BluesCorp performing a mix of popular blues/rock covers and it’s own original music all around Queensland.
