ACO2, the ACO’s critically acclaimed string ensemble, brings a stunning concert to our stage led by ACO2 Guest Director and Lead Violinist, Benjamin Schmid.
Take a musical trip around the world with works by Bach, Tchaikovsky and Barber, then concluding with Herbert Berger’s Metropoles Suite for violin and strings. Benjamin Schmid appears regularly with such major orchestras as the Vienna Philharmonic, the Philharmonia Orchestra London and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and is an award winning recording artist. with ACO2

ACO2 has toured to over 70 regional centres around the country. In 2013, ACO presented ACO2 in a national tour led by Richard Tognetti and it was named by The Australian as ‘one of the year’s must see concerts’. ACO2regularly works with international and Australian guest artists of the highest calibre.
