Recharge the batteries at grounded espresso bean

grounded espresso bean has popped up outside of Jay Jays and Timberland and is replenishing shoppers with caffeine injections and tasty gourmet eats and treats. Gratify your rumbling stomach with a bagel or sandwich to go or take a seat and tuck into some bruschetta or ricotta hotcakes with poached pears and berry drizzle and a cup of grounded’s own signature blend coffee. If you’re not in the mood for breakfast or brunch, skip straight to the smoked salmon salad or grilled chicken burger with brie cheese, crisp lettuce and cranberry sauce. Just be sure to leave room for a little treat from the sweets cabinet, the single serve cheesecakes are almost too pretty to eat! Almost.
grounded espresso bean is the work of Orsa Tammemagi, formerly the owner of Taste, and her son Patrick Gennari, owner of Koi Dining & Lounge Bar and Glass Dining & Lounge Bar, and has been envisaged as a 1940s-esque kiosk with rustic timber and copper accents against exposed brick. Even the staff look the part with dapper bowties and braces.
