Jetsetters can enjoy an aviation adventure this August without leaving the Gold Coast at Paradise Centre’s Paradise Air, where hosts will be awaiting your arrival at the beachside check-in desk from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm to welcome you onboard. You can expect DJs on the decks from 3.30–7.30 pm and a range of freebies to keep your spirits as high as the sky. There will also be roving entertainment throughout the weekend, with the Birds of Paradise – Beau the Budgie, Chip the Seagull and Lucy the Lorikeet – peacocking around the joint. Make sure you head to Budgie Basecamp outside the Vans store for a free Lost Luggage Scavenger Hunt. Strike a pose for a cheeky pic with Captain Beau the Budgie, then find his five lost luggage pieces around the centre. Complete the hunt to win a Beau the Budgie plush toy. Sounds like flapping-good fun to us!

Afterward, relax in the beachfront dining precinct where you can fuel up at Paradise Centre’s bounty of much-loved eateries –  Wahlburgers, TGI Fridays, El Camino Cantina and so much more.

While you’re there, get some things ticked off your shopping list because from August 16–18, every dollar you spend in centre spells freebies. Spend $20 and you can score a tote bag, drink cooler or beach ball, spend $75 and choose from a bucket hat, drink bottle, reusable coffee cup or cooler bag, or if you spend $150, you can select a $20 Paradise Centre gift card, Bluetooth speaker or backpack! To claim your prize, all you have to do is present a valid receipt (or a few – you can combine receipts) from participating retailers at the check-in desk in the beachfront dining precinct.
