TGI Fridays Surfers Paradise

Three years after the globally adored American bar and grill TGI Fridays made its way into our hearts and stomachs with its Robina restaurant, the celebrated chain of restaurants has delighted diners once again with a brand-new flagship outpost in Surfers Paradise. Occupying an elevated corner site within the Paradise Centre’s brand-new $40-million beachside dining precinct, the incredible 180-seater is the brand’s 19th restaurant in Australia and – we’re just going to say it – it’s stepped things up considerably to embrace the breezy beachfront space. If you’ve had the pleasure of dining at TGI Fridays before, you get the gist. For those who haven’t, it goes like this – the extensive menu is what you would call a crowd-pleaser as there’s something for everyone. We’re talking crisp-on-the-outside-gooey-on-the-inside mozzarella sticks, signature loaded potato skins, panko-crumbed whiskey-glazed chicken strips, salads, wraps, ribs, spiralled potato twisters, wings, and, of course, burgers. If all of that drooling has left you a little parched, you’re in luck – TGI Fridays also offers an extensive compendium dedicated to the venue’s tantalising tipples and crafted cocktails. There’s a raft of tapped and bottled beers (local, national and American brews), all of the shades of wine, plus eye-popping thick shakes like the hot-fudge-topped Extreme S’moreo – go ahead and add a nip of spirits to make it boozy. Be sure to keep an eye out for the venue’s world-famous Happy Hour! Make a booking at TGI Fridays Surfers Paradise here.
