Dust Temple in Currumbin presents its latest exhibition, Nest.

A full immersion exhibition of woven sculpture, wearable art and sound installation, Nest is unlike anything you’ve seen before. Created by two emerging artists, Anaheke Metua and WHAIA, dive deep into their cultural roots in this compelling ode to the strength, beauty, and skill of our avian counterparts.

Their complimentary artworks explore the rich symbolism of the Nest as an ephemeral home through texture, malleability, colour, use of raw materials, sound and video.

Opening night is Saturday July 7 but if you can’t make it along, don’t fret, you have until August 1 to see Nest before it flies away forever.
