It goes without saying that the team at Stone & Wood probably have the best jobs in the world. Not only is Stone & Wood responsible for crafting some of Australia’s best beer, it also goes the extra lengths to ensure that the finest ingredients are used to make the best product possible. The team at Stone & Wood recently travelled to Tasmania to sample the newest harvest of hops from Hop Products Australia, which is celebrating its 150^th consecutive harvest in 2015.

Hop Products Australia is known for producing some of the best hops in Australia. HPA’s Galaxy hop is the prime ingredient for Stone & Wood’s much-loved Pacific Ale. Both companies have come together to make something  special for Brewsvegas taking place this month – a limited batch of Pacific Ale will be ‘wet hopped’ with additional bags of Galaxy hops for 24 hours, creating an extra flavoursome brew. This batch of beer will be available at taps across Brisbane through Brewsvegas and at Surfari taking place on Sunday May 22 at Wandering Cooks.
