Wandering Cooks

As Brisbane’s first incubator for food start-ups, Wandering Cooks provides new food businesses with the resources, skills and guidance they need to make clever strategic decisions and achieve success. An old warehouse in South Brisbane has been given the beauty treatment by architect Mathew Aitchison and interior designer Kasia Jarosz to house three licensed commercial kitchens, one very impressive bar, numerous prep/finish bays, and cold and dry storage, which are all available for lease by the hour.The incubator also connects cooks to distributors, leases office facilities, shares financial and marketing advice and hosts events such as talks, trade exhibits and food markets. Wandering Cooks isn’t just a great space for budding entrepreneurs – members of the public are welcome to come along and enjoy a huge variety of events held at the venue regularly.
