Roll’d opens at QueensPlaza in Brisbane City

The Vietnamese street food trend continues in Brisbane, with the opening of Roll’d in QueensPlaza.

The Melbourne masters of quick and healthy Vietnamese fare have made the leap north with the opening of the first Roll’d store in Queensland. Located on the lower ground level of QueensPlaza, the eatery whips up the signature Roll’d soldiers – aka handmade rice paper rolls – in fresh flavour combinations like soft shell crab with avocado and barbecue chicken with sesame seeds. Banh mi baguettes featuring roast pork with crackling or sauce-laden meatballs benefit from dollops of pate and Mama Ly’s special mayonnaise, while the goi salad boasts lotus stem and duck or prawn and pork.

Co-owners Bao Hoang, his cousin Tin Ly and friend Ray Esquieres launched the first Roll’d eatery in Melbourne City just 16 months ago, and have already expanded the family to seven stores across Victoria, with a cluster more opening this month.
