Kiss The Berry opens second acai bar in South Bank

Repent those holiday sins with a nourishing acai bowl from Kiss The Berry’s second Brisbane store, tucked under the ABC building in South Bank.

Your pants may be a little too tight after Christmas holiday excess and January days are certainly too hot to stomach a heavy, hot lunch – so the timing couldn’t be better for the launch of Brisbane’s second Kiss The Berry The Acai Specialists store. Originally launching as a market stall back in July 2013, Kiss The Berry experimented with a pop-up cafe in Adelaide Street in late 2013 before expanding into a permanent store on Creek Street early last year.

Last month, co-founders Sarah Miller and Keziah Bossley opened the doors to their second Brisbane store on Grey Street in South Bank, boasting the same nourishing acai bowls and superfood smoothies as offered in the original cafe. Dig a spoon into The KTB Original Bowl featuring organic acai, banana, strawberries and apple juice topped with locally sourced honey, fruit and chia seeds, or the indulgent Snickers Delight Bowl of acai, banana, raw cacao, almond butter, almond milk and coconut water with coconut, berries and cacao to top it off. The smoothies incorporate ingredients like organic oats, activated buckinis, cold-pressed coconut oil and raw vanilla pea protein, while locally roasted coffee is blended with Maleny Dairies milk, almond milk or soy. Snacks, cold-pressed coffee and seasonal specials are also available.
