Attention happy shoppers! Your time has come – James St Up Late is back and bigger than ever! The annual after-dark spectacular will take over the leafy suburban street frequented by Brisbane’s best-dressed for an evening of scintillating discounts, goodies galore and fun in-store experiences, all while rubbing shoulders with some of the industry’s biggest names. Pencil in Thursday March 26 for Brisbane’s premier fashion party, because this is one shopping soiree not to be missed!

If you consider yourself a fashionista of sorts or bargain hunting is your side-hustle, then you would have been eagerly awaiting the date announcement of James St Up Late. The much-anticipated event is an after-hours shopping spree that boasts exclusive deals and luxe goodie bag giveaways. This year, the disposable bags of the past will be replaced with limited-edition tote bags filled with free goodies, including treats from M.A.C Cosmetics, The Nut Market, Paradiso Magazine, KAILO and JUST Water to name a few. There will also be bonus prizes from The Calile Hotel, Camargue, Endota Spa, Bucci, Sixes And Sevens and CRU Bar + Cellar which will find its way to a few fortunate random tote wearers – lucky dip, anyone?

As you navigate the homegrown boutiques and fashion flagships during the late night street-wide fashion party, keep your eyes peeled for some industry icons – Akira Isogawa of Akira who is set to officially launch his brand new store on James Street, Louise Olsen of Dinosaur Designs, Sean Venturi of Venroy and Heidi Middleton of ARTCLUB who will be hosting a temporary shop at The Calile Hotel’s pop-up and collaborating with Camargue for its colourful Up Late in-store runway show. Some of the strip’s most beloved designers will also be making an appearance on the night – local stars Natasha and Alex Chipman of Natasha Schweitzer, Gail Sorronda of her namesake label and Angelique Andronis of By Baby (as stocked in Andronis Jewellery) will also be present to meet, greet and style keen shoppers on the night. Plus, there will be a selfie-inviting photo-booth and live DJs providing the beats all night long.

Keen to shop ‘til you drop under the stars? Gather the crew and head to James Street from 6:00 pm on Thursday March 26. Psst … James St Up Late is free to attend!
