Award-winning coffee roaster and cafe outfit O’GaBee Coffee & Co. expanded its footprint to Brisbane’s north in 2022, adding to its budding portfolio of cafes with a slick modern location at the north end of Westfield Chermside. The Chermside cafe offers two blends – the Golden Bean-award-winning Blend 2, which boasts a strong dark-roast flavour with hints of chocolate and plum, and the Chermside blend (exclusive to the cafe) that is a medium-to-light roast that is perfect for milky brews. A rotating selection of single-origin filter brews are available, with new releases dropping seasonally, while O’GaBee’s cold brew is made using Nicaraguan beans. The rest of the cafe’s beverage menu features an assortment of frappes (including flavours like matcha and creme brulee), juices and smoothies – so there’s plenty for non-coffee drinkers. As for the food, the cafe’s cabinet is stocked with an assortment of grab-and-go sandwiches and snacks, as well as cakes supplied by Bloom Patisserie. An a la carte menu showcases an assortment of scrumptious staples including eggs Benedict, shakshouka and Angus beef burgers.
