Slurpee who? Cool down with El Camino Cantina’s Summer of Swirls dual frozen margaritas

Ah, summer in Queensland. The last couple of days have truly reminded us just how hot – and humid – it can get. When you can’t escape the heat, there’s nothing quite like a cool iced bev to regulate your temperature from the inside, out. To help, El Camino Cantina has just launched its limited-edition Summer of Swirls dual frozen margaritas, giving us an adults-only version of a summertime favourite.

Known for its Tex-Mex eats, vibrant frozen margs and fun-loving vibes, El Camino Cantina has gained a reputation as a guaranteed good time. There is one problem, however – sometimes it’s hard to choose what good-time flavour you’re in the mood for. Understanding that it’s too hot for difficult decisions, the El Camino team has launched its limited-edition Summer of Swirls range, so you can have two delicious frozen marg flavours in one. For the entire month of February, all El Camino Cantina locations will be offering six new dual flavours – pine-lime splice, mango strawberry, watermelon mint, lychee colada, calypso crush and lychee lagoon. Each flavour will be available in El Camino’s two trademark sizes or, if you really struggle with decisions, you can get a super-cute tasting paddle with four 220-ml mini margs.

To make sure you don’t go hungry, El Camino has also released its flavour-packed Summer Lovin’ Had Me A Blast menu, which features five new chicken-wing flavours and four new tacos. You can pair you marg swirl with finger-lickin’ wings doused in the likes of lime, chilli and sesame, mango habanero, barbecue and pineapple, and chipotle and adobe with ranch dipping sauce. If tacos are more your vibe, the line-up includes lamb barbacoa with cucumber and mint slaw, coriander and capsicum salsa, crispy pork belly with habanero pickled onions and salsa verde, and fish with white cabbage, mango relish, jalapeno and radish. Summer lovin’ can be easy on your wallet, too – the new wing flavours are just 10c each on Wing Wednesdays, and tacos are $2 each every Taco Tuesday. Uh wella wella wella huh.
