Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers

We don’t know about you, but if we see gnocchi on the menu, it’s hard to say no. You couldn’t believe our excitement when Paddington received Australia’s first dedicated gnoccheria! Ben Cleary-Corradini (founder of Benfatti Fine Italian Foods) and Theo Roduner (head chef of Grappino), the clever friends behind market stall Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers, opened their bricks-and-mortar eatery in late November of 2016 on Given Terrace. Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers offers both dine-in and takeaway options, with a variety of gnocchi and sauces made in house daily to choose from, as well as a selection of Italian sweets. The menu offers the likes of gnocchi with wild mushroom and truffle sauce, gnocchi with Genovese-style pesto and gnocchi with slow-cooked duck ragu, as well as sides including deep-fried mince-stuffed olives to thick-cut potato chips with truffle salt and aioli. Gluten-free options will be available in the near future, as will a selection a Italian wines. Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers will be catering to absolute gnocchi fiends with a masterclass series, which will offer attendees half a day of gnocchi indulgence paired with good red wine. Take note – dine-in seating is limited, so be sure to book ahead. Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers also does a cracking takeaway trade – so you won’t have to wait long to get your fix of gnocchi either way. And don’t stress market goers – you can still to find the boys at markets around town.
