Cannon Hill caffeine addicts may already be across this one, but if you’re a local of Brisbane’s inner-east and have been searching for a new coffee spot to try, we suggest cruising along Wynnum Road until you find Found Specialty Coffee. The city’s brand-new mobile caffeine dispensary is the brainchild of hospitality veterans Nez and Christina, who have eschewed the conventional bricks-and-mortar cafe route in favour of fostering inclusivity and connection with anyone that crosses their path. Found’s cosy trailer – equipped with two La Marzocco Linea Mini’s and a Mahlkonig GBW grinder – has everything the pair needs to pump out sensational brews. The team is using beans from roasting powerhouse Semi-Pro, serving a menu that encompasses espresso, batch brew, cold brew, iced lattes and iced blacks, Fly High Chai and iced chocolate, as well as chunky cookies from The Milkman’s Cookies. Alternative milks are available too, with MilkLab Almond, Bon Soy and No Ordinary Oat Milk at the ready. For now, Found Specialty Coffee will be permanently based in Cannon Hill from Monday to Friday from 5:30 am to 1:00 pm – but you might also catch the crew popping up at weekend markets from time to time.
