An old 1940s war bunker perched on Railway Terrace in Milton is now a refuge of a different kind – providing comfort for the coffee-obsessed denizens of the neighbourhood at Bunker. The vine-laced, hole-in-the-wall cafe serves up seriously delicious coffee using 5 Senses beans, and hot chocolate using fairtrade chocolate in a multitude of concoctions. Owner Marcus Allison set up Bunker in 2010 and has since built a community of loyal followers who seek refuge among its ivy-covered leafy walls. With BlackStar coffee and single origin blends made with Barambah Organics milk, Bunker is the perfect place to sip on a coffee and enjoy the cool, green surrounds.
