Seagypsea Photography X Ames Collective capsule collection launches

Ames Collective soul decks, which are hand-carved and hand-painted skate decks created by founder and creative genius Tess Wilcox, has launched a rad new capsule collection in collaboration with Seagypsea Photography – and you’ll want one of everything.

The new collection features printed images of the best photographs taken from Tess’s recent travels around the amazing Indonesian island of Sulawesi – and the result is a series of island-inspired soul decks with hand-painted words, to-the-point phrases and designs. The new Seagypsea Photography X Ames Collective series sits alongside the fun-loving, colourful and vibrant one-off decks in The Originals collection and the Muse range. The new collection is slightly more sophisticated in style and design, while keeping true to its free-spirited ethos of embracing the simplicity in life.

Based in Tugun, founder Tess Wilcox personally carves and shapes each board by hand and then hand-paints the overlaying designs and texts – so when you’re sliding on one of these decks with no shoes and salty hair, you’ll know that what’s under your feet is pretty darn special. We’re digging the new capsule collection’s Sunday Morning Vibes and En Vogue soul decks (just saying). Oh, and we would totally kick it on the I’m a Baller, Baby deck from the Muse range. Now we’re getting a little carried away. So, get on board (there was no better word to use there) and jump over to Ames Collective online for a peek at the new stuff.
