Sunday has to be our favourite day of the week. While Saturday can often be consumed with errands and the like, Sunday is different. Things move a little slower, and that’s okay, because you’re in that Sunday state of mind. Everything tastes better on a Sunday too, it’s just a fact. If you’re keen to make the most of your Sunday Funday, nab a seat at The Hidden Cherub’s brand-new Brunch Club. Read on for all of the delicious details …

If your ideal Sunday activity involves a little (responsible) day drinking over a meal with mates, we reckon we’ve got just the thing for a sublime Sunday activity. The Hidden Cherub in Burleigh Heads is getting the party started a little earlier than usual, from 10:00 am, to be specific, for the very first iteration of Brunch Club this Sunday July 17. Expect boozy acai sours, bloody Marys and espresso martinis alongside share-style plates of plant-based crispy chickpea fritters topped with almond cheese dust and watermelon radish, breakfast sliders with ‘bacon’, vegan croissants and smashed avo, to name a few.

Local DJs Elliot Ramsay and Eucalypt will be slinging beats and providing a sensational soundtrack for your snacking and sipping. You’ll find The Hidden Cherub tucked right behind Heartfill Store and, plot twist, the menu is entirely plant-based. Just be sure to have your coffee beforehand as The Hidden Cherub only serves the kind that is shaken with vodka.

The Brunch Club at The Hidden Cherub kicks off this Sunday, July 17 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
