Slurp on a Nutella milkshake at Salty Groms in Palm Beach

A tall glass of chocolate milk topped with a swirl of whipped cream, lashings of Nutella and an iced doughnut balancing precariously on top is just one of the tasty treats on the Salty Groms menu. The venue is the latest addition to Palm Beach’s cafe scene and offers cheap and cheerful eats.

Sometimes, all you really want is a bucket of hot chips drowning in gravy. Salty Groms in Palm Beach hears you and offers just that, with the option to add bacon, cheese and miscellaneous other delights. Alongside loaded fries, the venue offers an all-day breakfast menu filled with wholesome goodness such as corn fritters topped with tomatoes, avocado, dukka and feta as well as a few naughty treats thrown in to satisfy those ‘sometimes’ cravings (looking at you, waffles with bacon and maple syrup). If you’re in the mood for something cheap and cheerful, bite into a bacon and egg burger and sip on a regular Blackboard coffee for just $10.

Salty Groms is a family affair for Palm Beach locals Jennifer and Paul Mason and their two daughters Hayley and Ruby and is all about great coffee, tasty food and chilled vibes. The teenager-friendly venue is the kind of place you can feel comfortable strolling in post-surf to grab a coffee to go, enjoy over-due catch ups with friends over a long lunch or stop in with the kids after school and share a gigantic milkshake loaded with ice-cream and topped with doughnuts (that’s called The Ultimate Party Wave in case you were wondering).
