Surfers Paradise welcomes Oliver Brown Belgian Chocolate Cafe
If dessert is your favourite meal of the day then you’re in for a deliciously sweet treat at the Gold Coast’s newest chocolatier at Soul Surfers Paradise, Oliver Brown Belgian Chocolate Cafe. Just be prepared to leave in a chocolate-induced state of euphoria.
As you step inside Oliver Brown Belgian Chocolate Cafe, don’t be surprised if an old familiar feeling of excitement and anticipation washes over you, like you’re ten years old again and you’ve just stepped inside a lolly shop for the first time. The cabinet at the front is chock-full of some mighty fine baked goods, but it’s the menus suspended above that will really have your mouth watering. If you can bear to share, the Classic Fondue for Two makes for a romantic feast with sides of marshmallow, pretzel and strawberries among other temping delights. If sharing your chocolate sounds like a recipe for disaster, don’t worry, the fondue is available in a single portion so you don’t have to have a spoon fight for the last chocolate-dipped morsel. If you’ve got a hankering for decadence, it’s impossible to go past the house special waffles. Made fresh to order, the crispy sweet waffle base is drizzled with your choice of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, caramel sauce or maple syrup and adorned with a selection of sides. There are sliced bananas, ice-cream, crushed nuts, popping candy or crushed Oreos to name a few.
Oliver Brown established its first store in Top Ryde, Sydney in 2010 and has since expanded around the country and abroad with two stores in China. You can take a little of the Oliver Brown experience home with you with the beautifully packaged gift box sets that can be packaged in four, nine, 16 and 25 piece sets.
